As expected, the Colorado Avalanche will bring back their "Rockies" third jersey from 2016-17. The only difference is it will be adjusted to the "beloved" Adizero collar style.
The logo is inspired by the "Colorado Rockies" throwback logo (despite not being apart of their current franchise) and the Colorado state flag. The state flag also is represented as a shoulder patch. Lastly, the white shoulder yokes symbolize the snowy mountain tops of Denver, Colorado.
Here's a few more images to get a closer look at the jersey...
RATING: I still think this is a nice jersey. It's clean & simple yet still has quite a bit of meaning behind hit. The only thing I not particularly fond of is the modern waist striping - there could be a bit more to it.
